Tolton Drama Premiere
The Archdiocese of Chicago is proud to host the premiere of this production starring Andrae Goodnight
Tolton: From Slave to Priest is an exciting new multimedia theater production based on the true story of Father Augustus Tolton, the first African American Catholic priest. Audiences will be riveted by Father Tolton’s dramatic escape from slavery, encouraged by his struggle against prejudice, and transformed by his message of reconciliation and hope; one that has put him on the path to potential sainthood.
